Take Action 2020

ticking clock

The clock is ticking. There isn't much time left to save the soul of America. To do that we need to win back the White House and control the US Senate? In these days of COVID-19, common thinking is that the best way for Democrats to win in 2020 is by getting our voters out through grassroots actions around the country.

While there are few opportunities for face-to-face canvassing or events in York County at this time, the Maine Democratic Party has come up with some brilliant technology to reach out to fellow Democrats using phones, online tools, and personal contacts to enourage absentee voting, maximizing voter registrations, and helping people commit to vote.

Below are things Democrats can do from home or online to support the Biden & Harris Ticket, Sara Gideon for U.S. Senate, and elect Democrats to the state legislature.

YARD SIGNS

Biden Harris Sign

Display state and national candidate signs in your yard, especially if you live in a high traffic area. Signs come in and go out pretty fast. Drop into the Seacoast Dems Office in Meadowbrook Plaza York to see what is available.

Reach out to other Dems using your Phone. It's easier than you think.

Phonebanking

Wendy Reports: "I just did the phone bank training via zoom. Took only 30 minutes via zoom and there were people from Kittery, York and elsewhere in York County. I am now plugged into signing up for shifts."
